Athzi connects people who want to play sport together, and some of them are teenagers. We treat child safety as a condition of running the service, not a feature of it. This page sets out what we prohibit, what we do about it, and how to reach us.
What is prohibited
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is prohibited on Athzi without exception. There is no context in which any of the following is permitted:
- Child sexual abuse material, in any form, including drawn, computer-generated or altered imagery
- Sexualising a minor in text, images, usernames, profile details or messages
- Grooming, or any attempt to establish contact with a minor for sexual purposes
- Soliciting, arranging or facilitating a meeting with a minor for sexual purposes
- Sextortion, or threatening to share intimate imagery of a minor
- Trafficking of minors, or advertising a minor for sexual purposes
Accounts that breach this are removed permanently, without warning, and reported to the appropriate authorities.
Minimum age
Athzi is for people aged 16 and over. Date of birth is collected at signup and an account cannot be created below that age. Anyone found to be under 16 has their account removed. We do not knowingly hold data belonging to a child under 16; if you believe we do, write to us and we will delete it.
How to report
Anyone can report a user from their profile in the app or on the website — open the profile and choose Report. Reports can be made about inappropriate content, harassment, a fake profile, or anything else, and you can add details in your own words.
For anything involving a child, write to support@athzi.com directly and put CHILD SAFETY in the subject line. Those reports are prioritised ahead of everything else. You do not need an Athzi account to send one.
Email support@athzi.comWhat happens to a report
- Reports naming a child safety concern are reviewed ahead of all other reports.
- Where the report is substantiated, the account is removed and its content deleted.
- Confirmed child sexual abuse material is reported to the relevant authorities, including the NCMEC where applicable, and to Polish law enforcement.
- We preserve the material and account records where required so an investigation is possible.
- We do not require the reporter to identify themselves, and we do not tell the reported account who reported them.
Legal compliance
Athzi complies with Polish and European Union law on child protection and on the reporting of child sexual abuse material, and with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy. We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
Point of contact
Harsh Gautam operates Athzi and is the point of contact for child safety matters. Write to support@athzi.com. Reports marked CHILD SAFETY are answered ahead of other correspondence.
What we do not claim
We are honest about the limits of what a small service can do. Athzi does not verify the identity or age of its users beyond the date of birth given at signup, and direct messages are not scanned automatically. Our protection rests on clear rules, reports from people using the service, and acting on them quickly. Please tell us when something is wrong — it is how this works.
