Delete your account

From the app or website

1. Sign in to Athzi.
2. Open Profile, then Settings.
3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately. It cannot be undone.

By email

If you cannot sign in, write to support@athzi.com from the email address on the account. We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Your profile: name, username, date of birth, country, city, bio, sports and skill level
• Your profile photo and any photos you attached to posts
• Your posts, comments and likes
• Your game listings, join requests and participation history
• Your messages and game chat history
• Your reviews and coach bookings
• Your coach details and any certificate you uploaded
• Your notification token, so the app stops reaching your device

Deleting some of your data, without closing your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove things you have added. Each of these takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

• A post: open it, tap the three dots, then Delete post.
• A game you listed: open it, tap Manage, then Delete listing. This also removes its join requests, its chat and its participant list.
• A game you joined: open it and tap Leave game. You are removed from the participant list and the organiser is told.
• Your profile details: open Profile, then Edit profile. You can change or clear your photo, bio, city, sports and skill level.

Direct messages and game chat cannot be deleted one by one. To remove those, delete your account using either method above.

What is kept, and why

A one-way cryptographic code (hash) of your email address is kept for 30 days, only so we can show a clear message if you try to sign in to the deleted account. It cannot be turned back into your address, and it is removed automatically after 30 days. Copies in backups kept by our providers are overwritten within 90 days. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
